About this site

The site is edited by Brock Markarian, a High Desert local who spent five years running a Victorville restaurant and bar, working up from bartender to general manager. He also owns Marketing 760, a Victorville web design and local SEO agency that builds and runs this site.

Every list uses the same formula, and nobody can pay to change it.

1. We pull every matching restaurant in Victorville from Google Maps.
2. We drop anything under 4.2 stars or with fewer than 100 reviews.
3. We rank the rest by rating weighted by review count. A place with 4.5 stars from 3,000 reviews can beat a place with 4.9 from 120, because its rating is more reliable.
4. Places just outside city limits, in Hesperia, Apple Valley or Oro Grande, go in a separate "worth the drive" section.

When a listing quotes a review about a dish, the quote comes from a Google review. Distances are straight-line from Old Town Victorville, so driving distance is a little longer.

Ratings, fees, hours and events were last checked in October 2026. Restaurant lists are refreshed every quarter, and events are added as organizers post them. Hours change, so tap Directions or call before you go.

• Sponsor slots are labeled "Sponsor" and set in yellow. Sponsor links carry rel="sponsored". Sponsors never affect rankings.
• Some sponsors are also Marketing 760 clients, such as Monarch Landscape & Design, JC Energy Solutions, Mighty Turf and Majestic Rock & Material. They pay for their slot like any other sponsor and get no special placement in lists.
• Cross Eyed Cow Pizza, the pizza page sponsor, is owned by a personal friend of the editor. Its place in the pizza rankings comes from the same rating formula as everyone else.
• We don't use affiliate links.
